Default This Is Not A Test – The Tri-State Wasteland

My second map for Worlds End Publishing. This one is of a small area in the center of the first (http://www.cartographersguild.com/fi...own-world.html). I was given a bit more freedom with the style in this one, and maybe went back to my comfort zone a little, deciding to paint it by hand, but I still got some experimenting done

The map itself is watercolors, and the labels, border and cartouche were added in Photoshop.

Very nice, I like that is very clean and simple. The colours are beautiful.

Well, your comfort zone is fabulous! The experimentation, seamless. Saw this first in the picture gallery... didn't even need to look to see who did it, just saw it and thought, yay! Another Lingon

Thank you so much, Chashio! Having a recognizable style is one of the things I strive towards, so it means a lot to me that you saw who did it!

Nice work Lingon! I just looked at the other map this one is based from and it's a pretty neat idea!

Thanks, guys! A little blurry, yes… My scanner is not the best, so to speak I'm peeking dreamingly at those high-end A3 scanners, but, yeah… a bit on the expensive side. I'm glad you think it's different, Vorro; that's another thing I aim towards My very harmless teen rebellion
