Thread: Oakhurst

    Map Oakhurst

    I figured I'd post this here. I'm not ruling out that I may make a change or two in the future as I get better with Photoshop, but for now I think this map is done. This is the first map I've ever done and I think it turned out rather well taking that into consideration.

    Special thanks to Midgardsormr, RobA, Ravells, and Torstan for what almost amounted to a tutorial. Thanks so much for the help. You can follow the evolution of the map here:

    The last thing that I added which isn't in there are a few land depression shadow overlays that I found over in the Dundjinni forums.

    Nice! It somehow reminds me of Tristram in Diablo 1.

    Thats a REAL compliment .

    It's pathetic but Tristram is probably one of the few CRPG locations I think I actually developed a fondness for. I felt angry going back to it in DiabloII to find it demolished. Pity you couldn't re-enter the Diablo1 dungeon and work some revenge.
