[Region 1][Map 11] The City States of Akron

The remainder of the map showing the last of the city states. That of Karthis.
Karthis has few client settlements, but is renowned in the region for the quality of it's mercenary soldiers. Karthian soldiers are professional and once bought they stay bought, to the death. Honour has a high degree of currency in Karthis. Warder Keep, a client of Karthis, is home to the mercenary group of Artor Cambori. The Warders are in demand throughout the region of Akron. Their reputation is second to none, both in skill and honour

To the east, some settlements border the Red Hills.
In recent times, some few settlements have appeared on the eastern ranges of Akron. Three settlements there are, populated by refugees from the plague troubled east. The area has become known as Lesser Groam, for it is from this region that most refugees come. The greater population of Akron does not visit these poor shanty villages, for fear of the plague. The villages are watched, nevertheless, to ensure that the refugees dare not spread too far in to the region.

To the south lie a few client settlements of the City State of Edran.
Also included is a regional map to show how the City States of Akron fit in the wider context.
