Default Village 2 - sketchy style

Inspired by all the comments from my last map, and also an urge to develop the style further, here is a second map in the same style. This time the houses are placed better I hope

That really looks great. I love the "simple" style. Are you planning to do interior callouts of the other two numbered buildings?

I love the look. What kind of texture did you use? It is just enough to not be distracting...

    Thanks for the comments,
@Jtougas - No I'm not planing to do that, maybe in a future map I add more cutouts.
@DearCyrus - The texture is a papertexture added as the bottom layer and then the whole map has been applied with the PS filter Oilpainting.
@Gameprinter - Hehe I'm glad you recognize me And also that you like the layout better in this one.

I like it too. It has an old drawing style and the texture is adding a I-don't-know-what that is really pleasant.

I agree with what others have already said, this is an improvement over the last map. The texture really does add something. Lovely work.

    Cheers,

Like everyone else already said, a huge improvement This map uses much more of this style's potential.
