Default November 2013 Entry - Terinar

There is not much background on this world yet - right now it just exists ...

The idea was to create a D20-globe (an icosahedron projection) which could be used to roll the position of some event ...

The world was first created in Fractal Terrains using 20% landmass. More water means fewer cut-in-half-continents. Using the isocahedron export.

Next step, the map was dissected and reassambled to reduce the cut continents.

Importing to inkscape, adding major grid and glueing flaps.

Still to do ... naming / labeling - maybe some more stuff, depends on time

Looking really nice, though I think the landmasses are a little too similar in size. If possible (and if you want, of course), I'd suggest to fill out the ocean between the bottom three continents with more land, to make a more varied world. But anyway, great job with the textures and colors!

Added a fine grid - already printed the thing, so I will put it together for a photo maybe this weekend.
