    Map Havinako

A personal project on which I worked on and off for over a month now.

Havinako is a French-analogue kingdom on the island of the same name. The ancient island of Havin-Nark was conquered by the armies of the Tybalian Empire long ago and for six hundred years Havinakom was a province of the empire. When it fell down, the governor claimed the throne and made himself king. Since then five hundred years passed and Havinako has developed into a wealthy seafaring nation.
One Leagua Reyal is nearly two kilometers.

I used a name generator for most of the names and some I invented myself, but I didn't double check if any of these words exist in the French language (my poor school French says no, but that doesn't mean much), but I guess one of our francophone members will point it out if so.

    I love it!
I especially like the color scheme ^^
I would only suggest to change ... well, just kidding, it's just perfect to me

As per the labels, there are some names that would need to be adjusted.
    - Bai de Lon --> Baie de Lon (Bay of Lon)
    - Bai de Masille --> Baie de Masille (Masille Bay)
    - Bai de Forge --> Baie de Forge (Bay of Forge)
    - Montes Brevennes --> Monts Brevennes (Brevennes Mountains)
    - Montes Agilles --> Monts Agilles (Agilles Mountains)
    - Montes Nornasse --> Monts Nornasse (Nornasse Mountains)
    - Montes Yrlaires --> Monts Yrlaires (Yrlaires Mountains)
    - Plane de Durmane --> Plaines de Dumane (Plains of Durmane)
    - Planes de Mandille --> Plaines de Mandille (Plains of Mandille)

    Hope it'll help

    Thank you, Dain!
The labels are 'correct' - I wanted a language similar to French but not identical, something I had missed to mention in my first post. My sincere apologies for the effort I caused you to do!

Nice stuff as usual though I'm not fully convinced by the labeling work. I prefer curved ones rather than straight diagonal ones and in my opinion more kerning on the territories names to fill the space they are labeling would have been better.

Well, this is a map i can dig. The colors are more subtle than in your usual works, i like that. And the faux-french is cool

Nice work, your compass is simply marvelous.

I also like your mountains, towns, color scheme, oceans, and just about everything else.
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.
