    Default Map as Background

While I'm just getting back into fantasy mapping, I wanted to share something that I did a couple of years ago that used a simple map as the background for a piece of artwork. This is scrimshaw on ancient mammoth ivory. I am definitely looking forward to creating some hand drawn maps, but I need to get the paid work done first.

    Hello:
Looks good. I am a program manager for a small publisher and we have used maps as the inside cover of books and as backgrounds for place the preface, last word and other parts of the book on. It looks great. I think the inspiration we drew from was "The Wizard of Oz" each section of the original was on a different color paper. Why can't we use different back grounds.

    Thank you for sharing.
