Default Val Módrum - village map

Here's my latest little project. Microns and watercolour pencils, 24 x 26 cm.

Not a lot of thought or planning have gone into this; I only needed a map to have something to colour. I usually use photoshop to add colour but I wanted to do a piece entirely by hand for a change.
Perhaps it's a little green (okay, VERY green), but for a first try, I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. Hope you enjoy

Absolutely lovely. The colors are spot on in my opinion.

If you'd *started* this today, instead of finishing today, it would have a marvelous shot at this month's lite contest... I don't suppose you could be encouraged to also draw that little place down the road as well, hint, hint ? :-)

    It's REALLY nice.

I've forgotten what coloured pencils feel like. =P

Great work. Really like it. It serves both as a map and a visual aid, to my view.
