Looks much better than the simple coastlines. I always love the little capes and bays on a map.
Don't go overboard, though; these are continents. Most continental-scale maps don't show small inlets or peninsulas.
Basically what I am trying to say is that you don't want it to look like you started with a simple outline and then traced along it with a zigzagging pattern.

Figured I'd post this before I went to class.
Tried to make it less...whatever it was, lol.
The third contintent I sketched in without much though, but I need to head to class lol.

Added some islands and stuff. This is basically what I need as far as the thing I'm writing goes--I'm not sure if I just want to crop it or populate the blank parts of the map.

Either would work... or you could leave it, and those uncharted lands could just be as-yet-undiscovered?

I like the latter idea a bit more--I think I'll add in a few more islands to make it look less plain and then work on making the rivers/doing elevation stuff.

Thank you for the great idea Jalyha <3

Don't fall into the "I need to fill the space" syndrome people can have. If your world doesn't need any more islands, or especially if it may have more unknown lands, don't change it.
I think it looks fine the way it is.

Yeah, I'm not going to add in any other stuff.

I've been sick so I haven't made any progress. Nose won't stop running so I guess now is a good time to work on this.

Somewhat annoyed because I can't decide the general aesthetics I want my map to have.

That and coloring it seems hella daunting at the moment. So I've been dicking around with this--she'll be on some heraldry so. Somewhat relevant, I guess.

Just kinda butting around with colors.

The ocean is way too dark blue, but it's just a placeholder.

Did the coastal rings from that rad tutorial to give it a try.
