    Post Hello all!

    Hello all!

I stumbled across this board via the Wilbur website and liked what I saw!

    So, a bit about me...

I've been hand-drawing maps of fantasy worlds since the mid 80's and a few years ago decided to computerise one of them using a mix of vector, raster and 3D software.

Recently, I've been thinking of doing something entirely computer-based and have been trawling the internet researching software.

I must finish by saying that I've seen some impressive work here, and read some great advice and opinions on software.

Welcome aboard, I'm sure you'll find everyone here more than willing to give advice, assistance, etc.

    Lol. More ocean-going metaphors. Welcome!

Have you got your sights set on any software in particular? Wilbur's very powerful, as I'm sure you already know. If you haven't already done so, have a gander at the Fun with Wilbur tutorials Joe graciously provided us with. They've not gotten nearly as much attention as they merit, I think.
