Hi! I decided to try and make more of a detailed map, and here's what I've got so far. It feels like something is wrong, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Notes I've made for myself:
- Plan your mountains beforehand!
- Learn how to make rivers!

First of all, your thumbnail is just showing as a bunch of black lines o.O

I'm not sure what style of map you're going for, but... The trees... that's just overwhelming. I am having trouble focusing on the map to look at anything else, because it's too dark/distracting.

I appreciate what you were going for... the denser forest melting out into scarcer trees... but that's not the effect I'm getting. It doesn't gel well with the simple, black outlines of your icons. I bet it would look a lot better if you thinned that out a bit.

Yeah, I was shooting for dense, impenetrable forest, but it doesn't really work out in that way.

I think I kinda need to make up my mind about what style I'm going for at first
