Map The Fortress of Despair - Gygaxian Dungeon Map

The infamous Fortress of Despair was constructed by the mad lich Xygarien. In order to protect the only means of his true destruction, the paranoid wizard designed this forlorn dungeon to confuse, confound, and horribly maim any would-be heroes.

Back a couple of years ago Dungeon Magazine had a contest for the best Gygaxian Dungeon. While I didn't win, I was one of the six finalists: Acecerak's Aprentice

I figured I'd share the ridiculous labyrinthine dungeon map with you guys here.

    Cheers,

    Rwaluchow

Nice! I like that tentacle-wall room.
