    Wip Village surrounded by terraces

    Hello,

One map finished, time to start a new one.
This project is inspired by the Banaue Rice Terraces.
I started to make the terrain with Bryce. I haven't rendered it in full quality yet, so this is just a quick test render.
There will be a village in the upper left corner (therefore I posted it in town/city) and lots of vegetation all over the map.

Cool idea! Have you read about the Balinese water temple irrigation system? I've had an adventure idea on the back burner of my brain for a while now based on that.

This is the current state of the map. Most of it is made with Bryce, only a little Photoshop here and there. C&C welcomed.

I just did a quick google search and it sounds interesting. I wanted to include a temple anyway, so let's see what I can bring up once I come to the buildings.

This is really starting to look nice, there is a pretty nice tileable image of rice paddy's here that may be of some use to you.

Lots of other good textures here also...

The vertical surfaces are a bit too shiny, I think. They look a bit like they're covered in new copper cladding.
