    Default Whitehead

This is a quick map of the Whitehead town. A small town with a fortress on an island in the river. Here I aimed for a hand drawn look so that the map would fit with the book.
The book is borrowed from The British Libraries scanned manuscripts.
If you want to use it for your game feel free to do so.
    Hope you like it

Nice job Clercon I do think that the town map itself isn't really interesting imho but the overall drawing looks great.

You misunderstood what I meant. The town sounds interesting but not the town map itself to me (which doesn't provide at least a few informations on it imho).

Yeah I like the look too. The town is rather plain, but suits the style very well. I want to know where you got the book! Do you have a full version that you are willing to make available to us poorfolk?

    EDIT***
Oh never mind...Reading the full post answered the book question...YEEESSSHHH do I need to pay more attention...

I think maybe a page on the right with a key might have suited the map well while still keeping the style going. I have to agree with Max that I find maps without information on them somewhat lacking. Unless that's the point, to let game players label it themselves

Thanks for the comments and I'm glad you like it. This was kind of a test map where I wanted to try out how the book would work out for maps. And also I thought that if someone wanted to use it they could easily add a legend themselves, so it would suit their needs.
But I probably try to do another one in the future where I put in more info and also will spend some more time on the actual map, this one was done in around 30 minutes

This is really nice! Definitely one of the better "picture of a map" type of maps I've seen.

I love the rough look of the map and the book surround makes it look truly authentic! I also appreciate the effort that you've taken to make the colours blend well with the facing page, despite the fact that you don't really see it very clearly.

As with some of the others I think a bit more detail would really bring it to life but, all in all, excellent work! I think an homage may be in order!
