    Default Nautical Charts as reference

    Hi folks,

sorry if this thread is redundant, but I'm really bad at searching in forums so I thought I'd just start a new thread on the topic after a short, seemingly fruitless search.

I'm looking for historical nautical charts as reference material, preferably late 17th, early 18th century. I had a look at The National Maritime Museum link, but I couldn't find anything usable. Might have just been my own stupidity.

Does anyone know a good source for those? The David Rumsey Map Collection seems to have some, but I was hoping for something more specifically nautic.

    Cheers,
    Llannagh

I usually consider myself a "web-native", but it seems I'm just too stupid or maybe impatient to find stuff myself...

Thanks a lot, that's about what I was looking for! Sorry for the bother...
