Rogue here, introducing myself to the Cartographer's Guild. As I'm sure many of you already know, the title to my thread is a reference to a popular phrase used by many old map makers when referring to uncharted territories. It was something of a warning to the map holder.

I'm also infatuated with dragons and other creatures and stories of myth.

What I'm hoping to get out of the Guild is to learn more about geography, climate, and map making in order to further enhance my world building skills, in role play and writing. I'm also hoping to make a few friends who share similar interests in writing fiction and maybe even role playing. The sort of maps I want to learn about making focuses more on practicality than aesthetics. While I'm certainly not against posting any attempts for people to see, my maps are used for more personal references to help me keep information on locations and distance consistent throughout the story.

So I suppose that's it. Keep your eyes open and you'll see me out there.

P.S. You're all welcome. I did not make an attempt at a bad mapping pun.
