The lettering is great! Really unique looking map, I'm in awe.

I like it as it is, but if you have the time, as you planned, I would too add a border.

    Thanks again, folks!

I'm not done with the border but I thought I'd show you where im headed with it.

As you can (hopefully) see, I've tried to incorporate other fairytales into the design of the border. I don't do borders often, but having seen how awesome peoples' maps are with borders just made me want to give it a go!

    Cheers,
    Jamie

Oh neat.... it's like fairy tale hieroglyphics along the border.

I hadn't thought of it like that - but that's exactly what they are lol!

Right, it's taken me ages but I've finally finished my border! I'm not 100% happy with it - it's not quite now I'd imagined it, but I think it sort of works

This has been a lot of fun and I've never done anything like it before so I'll definitely be having a cracking at the next one!

It's hard to make out, but I think I recognize the "three little little pigs" and "the big bad wolf". Is that correct? Are all the little glyphs around the border tied to some fairy tale element?

Thanks Xeonicus, yeah - they're like the key points from other fairy tales (or, at least, they're supposed to be!) I didn't know whether to list them or make a little game of seeing who can guess the most lol!

That border might have taken a few years out of your life but it was well worth it. I will have to stare at it for ages let alone the rest of the map. The little houses are perfect both in the detailing and the style match to the rest of it. I wish I had some useful criticism for you but you'll have to seek that from wiser minds than mine.
