    Very nice, Domino44

I might suggest a stronger tone difference between the land and water. Color difference would be better, but since you have kept the same general color throughout, see if you can make a little more contrast between the tones. The places you put a lighter tone (Aspor and Zham, for example) stand out by far the best. The rest seems too drab to me.

Great work Domino! Very nice city icons, were they your own design? The only critique I have is concerning the mountains. I don't really think their "sketchy" style fits with the sharp style that you use for the rest of the map.

    And congratulations on the commission

    Cheers,

It may be a style choice on your part, which is fine, but I would suggest this.
I think you could get more punch out of it with some areas being a bit lighter and more contrasted.
It would make things stand out more. But that's just a style choice. It really has an aged quality to it. I like your city icons too.

Thanks Tainotim! Yes the icons are my own, I get what your saying about the mountains, I'm not in love with them but my client seemed to really like them so I didn't feel the need to change them.

J.Edward, that is a great point the map would look better with a bit of contrast looking at it I do get a sort of flat feeling I will try and create a map that stands out a little more. Thanks for your input and kind words!
