    Default Veneritium

Hey guys, after 1 week of work, I finished this experiment with a new style of mountains. The final result is Veneritium, a mix of italian and nordic cultures.
I must say this is one of my best maps, I think I grew a lot since 2012 in mapmaking, and what makes me even happier was the fact that I made it within a week, compared to my other maps where I would take 1 month to finish one.

Hope you guys enjoy, and a special thanks to Diamond and Chashio for giving tips and critics. I decided to add a little contrast, ass Chashio mentioned, and I think it´s more pleasant to see now!

Lovely style! That grungy colour shift is really great and the decorative flourishes really bring it together.

I just wanted to bump this map up since I finally remembered to rep it; thought other folks would love to see this amazing map.

Not sure how I miss these maps.
I really like the mountain style you used here Carbus.
Some text is difficult to read but otherwise this is a win.
The more I look at the mountain style, the more I like it. Repped.

Sweet Mother, this is simply stunning. Yet another addition to my "Inspiration" folder, that is starting to gain quite a size these days..

Nice job putting minimalist elements together in a way that feels fresh and innovative! As others have said, the mountains in particular. They looks so nice I might have to swipe them someday.
