    Default (WIP) Desert Region

Hey guys, for my next project I decided to go with a desert theme, since I never did one! Also I wanted to test my new mountain set and see the possible results of it!
My main concern with it is how to fill the blank spots aka the real desert areas, without breaking the style. Can you guys give any advice with how to fill it with something meaningful?

Wow, I really like this, especially the faded/grungy color scheme. Do you plan on including symbols for sand dunes or oasis?

Oh man, this looks awesome already. I love your style, and this seems like it'll be even better than the last one!

For the deserts, maybe some dunes? You could do them in the same style as the mountains - but flatten them out and keep the color fill lighter. Also, maybe make notations of different kinds of desert terrain; hamada, reg, canyons, wadi, etc.

This mountain style is amazing, looks like it's sunset.

You got a very good start! Hell no, it's more than a start already!
It makes me think of the desert region of the black dwarves in the Old World of the Warhammer setting

Hey there guys, thanks for the feedback! I added some dunes, to cover some part of the desert and also reworked the icons, I think they look better now.

I like the dunes. I just think that you may place some more, as the mountain area is dense.

I think I liked the simpler city icons you had before. These new ones contrast too much with your awesome geographical icons in my opinion. They're big, and they really overwhelm the map.

The dunes look pretty good. I agree with JefBT about making them a little denser, at least to see how it looks.

This looks fantastic! I like the icons actually, I think they match the mountains really well. I love the grungy look and the murky colors too
