Hello!

My name is Beomir. I am relatively new to the Cartographers guild. I have been on the website for about a month, but it was not until very recently however that I finally made an account for myself.

The reason that I'm here is to improve my map making skills and perhaps request a map for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign world. Most of my knowledge of maps lies in pencil on graph paper, but I've seen some of the great maps done on this website and thought that I might as well have a look.

That's all for that part.

My main interest is history, in particular Dark Ages to the Crusades to the Middle Ages (perfect for an avid D&D player ) My main area of interest in Europe is in the Scandinavian countries and the effects of civilization and religion on the people.

Consequently I prefer to play a Nordic/Dark Ages campaign. (Think of the computer game Skyrim)

I also love the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
