Map Garthey - fantasy town commission

    Hey everyone,
I was lately commissioned by a RPG group to make a map of the town of Garthey, where a lot of plots are keeping the players busy there. The request was a friendly printer map. I didn't want to go on a greyscale version for this one so I just added some solid grey shading on the black nad white map. As usual, it's digitally hand-drawn in Photoshop.

Hope you'll like it. As usual, feel free to rate, rep or run away

You make me want to get going and push my skills, polish them and expand them to get better and evolve my maps. Keep on. I must say I realy like your city maps the most, within your wide range of maps.

While i agree that this looks, as always, really well done, the map itselfs totally shatters my suspension of disbelief. Why is there even a wall at all? This city wall is totally and absolutely useless as it does not close off the city at all. It's just non-sensical. Weird.

Magic! Client request! or something! Nah kidding, indeed I should have joined the walled parts to the rivers banks to make it more realistic.

Maybe it makes them feel safer. Maybe they worship the wall. Maybe, the wall isn't even a wall at all and it's actually a giant artificial rock-face which people pay to climb and is the town's main source of revenue.
What I'm definitely sure of is that this is a great map.
