    Default Sogn og Fjordane

Here is a commissioned map I finished early this year. I am open to suggestions on how I could have better approached the labelling. Other comments are quite welcome too of course!

Brillant map, not much constructive critics to say at this level! your borders are really amazing. For the labels maybe i would have used a slightly stronger outher glow on them to make more visible and i would have used curve the text on water.

Really nice job on the mountains and rivers, particularly as an interactive landform system.

Great stuff Viking! Pretty much what Francissimo said, A slight dark outerglow on the labels (and possibly on the borders that aren't that visible) would have make them pop up a bit more. Plus The border (which is awesome of course) is a bit too dark regarding the map and it distracts from the labels a bit. After all, it's a map, informations on it have to be clearly legible, right?

I agree with others about the labels, but it's a beautiful map overall. Surely, we naturally expect of a guy named Viking to know how to draw fjords, but this is very, very well done !

This is totally awesome, Viking. Your style is very unique and beautiful. I'm always fond of such handdrawn/painted stuff...you and Lingon really rock this style, each of you in an own fashion.
In short - Love it! Have some Rep. (if i can) and a Like.

I hope to see another regional or even worldmap soon....ish

Those mountains are truly gorgeous. Aside from some of the text labels being a bit hard to read against their background, the whole map is excellently done.

Very good. I especially like the dales.
Looking forward to seeing this sometime when I'm coming over the mountains. Where will it be featured?

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the advice and kind words very much.

Francissimo: Thanks! I will definitely try that out in future maps.

    Cuin: Thanks!

Max: Thank you very much. Yes... I see what you mean about the border being perhaps too dark for the map itself.

Ilanthar: Haha... I knew I had to do a good job to live up to my own name on here :p

    arsheesh: Thank you Arsheesh!

Eilathen: Thank you! I have a few more maps in the work so I will post them when I get them finished.

    Ghostman: Thank you!

Fluesopp: From my understanding the client wants to sell posters of it in the region itself.
