    Default {WIP} SK Geomorph Map Tiles

    Hi Guild,
    I recently got infected by the Encountermap euphoria and try my hand on that topic. Here are first results.
    As this is something still quiet new to me I would love to hear comments and critics on this mapping topic.

    Very nice start, excellent work with the road texture. To make them more interesting as encounter maps, they need more details. Trees, Brush, Large Rocks, Rubble, Pits, a Well or spring, an overturned wagon, an old foundation. Places for enemies to hide in ambush, for treasure to be found, a cave entrance hidden under an old door, etc.

    I like your grass texture, but I find the colour a bit lurid and oversaturated. I don't like your stones: too high-contrast and computer-generated for me.

    Hi, I have the contrast reduced to a less vibrant green. Would a more brown color with teh stones work better? I didnt felt them too digital.

    I think the issue is on the first map, where you use some digital painting work for stones but used photorealistic texture for the pavement roads. Both don't match. On the second map, it works well since you don't have that clash with photorealistic stuff. Also I think that the green is still oversaturated.

    Hi Max, I didnt showed the new color yet. Yes I am unhappy with the stonetexture myself, i will changed that to a more painted stones. Also they are too regular for the purpose

    For the first set I want 6 Grassfields, 6 Roads, 6 Rivertiles
    Mostly empty. The next tiles would have trees and forest parts as I want to create a large Range of Basic Tiles
