Default Fishers and craters, a speed cartography attempt

Hello there. This map is the result of a speed cartography training. I usualy spend hours on my maps, adding small details and reworking the balance of colours again and again, but sometimes time is missing so working with a time contraint seems a good training. This map was done in about 2 or 3 hours with wilbur and photoshop and is an attempt to mix rapidity and aesthetic. I am interested in feedbacks, particularly on how you deal with time, like your average time of work on a map or if you have tips for fast mapping

Nice work. Makes for a very interesting landscape.

I am very slow. I spend hours trying to find the "right" texture or object.

thanks Bogie. When speed is important i often used layers styles from previous projects, that greatly reduce the time spent on a map.

That is pretty darn cool. And clever title, too.

I can't rep you again just yet, but have a like and rating instead.

Funny, I just commented how your underwater map is so expressive that it made me seasick, only to find out that I already liked this map. You have the right touch for representing water, be it ocean or pond. Original landscape on this one, too. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Shall, glad you like those water effects! About water i've focused a bit more on the representation of waves and of a vortex in the water in my latest map the whirlwind islands (also in the finished maps section ). The representation of streams and coral reef is my next goal, haven't seen a lot of maps with coral reef yet, anyway thanks for the encouragement!
