Tutorial Quick Land Shapes Using Photoshop Filters

I'm not sure that there is anything revolutionary here but I was poking around to see how I might generate some basic land shapes using Photoshop's built in filters (CS4). This method is pretty quick and gives good results (to my eye).

Using a variation on this technique it is possible to get other effects with structure (like ruins or a dungeon I think). Not sure if my baby steps here are of interest or unique but if so I'll post a quick tutorial like this one if you need help figuring it out.
