Sera San Clara de Crusada (Known as Port of St. Clara of Crusades, also called "Crusada") is a small village located on the island of San Clara. Sera San Clara de Crusada, referred to by pirates, smugglers and thieves as "The Gallows Port", where pirates are hung at the city's large fort on the small offshore island. The Fort, named Fort Fierro, is where pirates are kept captive before their execution date.

An issue I am facing currently is the coastline seems too...rounded, any ideas?

Well, use your fantasy. An importnat question could be the scale of your map. Let´s assume the map covers about 400x300 km, here is an idea:

Land features seem very fractal in nature to me. I would suggest that within moderation that you can use the share techniques for city scale coasts as you would for regional.
