Thread: My mountain, forest, desert and hill brushes

Default My mountain, forest, desert and hill brushes

    Hey guys,
I'm not sure if they are any good compared to the other brushes out there, but I thought I'd share my custom brushes I made for my maps with you.
The sizes might be a bit messed up, I'm still learning how to use all of Photoshop's options and stuff, the image shows them all set to 400, the mountain and hill groups to 600.
The tree patches can easily be used to create large forests, you just have to use the eraser a bit to get rid of overlapping lines.

Some nice brushes there Ravenfield. Clean and simple. Would love to see more brushes if you have time to do more (i.e. grassland, marshes, fields, boulders etc)

I would like to second this request. I tried to convert the brushes myself, but I am a GIMP / PS amateur, and the brushes came out looking very rough indeed (and they would only brush in one color). These are an absolute perfect match for the map style I'm currently working on! I would love to be able to use them in GIMP.
