Huge update. Was so unhappy with the mountain design, that I went ahead and did most of the shadowing and detailing to distract from it. Not far from being finished with the black and white version; will see if I color it or not. I let the draft speak for itself beyond that

What remains is some more detailing in the city and the mountains, and then the last shadowing. After that, I will go through all the line work before I do the final scan. Hopefully I will have that done by the weekend so I can go ahead and focus on the digital part of my process during the last week. Feedback and comments much appreciated.

Really really nicely done! You're awesome with cities! The mountain looks a bit too geometric, in my opinion. Maybe erase some lines to give more random shapes, if possible?

I have to agree - the mountainside now looks like it is faceted like a gem. The rest of it looks great though.
