Maybe I was a bit too playful with the names of the maps. Yes you did... like this one.

Here she is. Need to work on the forest still -- having trouble creating a texture i can manipulate with filters. I might change the cities/names to something more... modern? any votes for modern?

I like the names myself. I don't think the forests mesh with the overall style of the map tho..

Its a real nice map, maybe the forests need a bit more tweaking... maybe the are a bit too 'shiny'? I would try to add a darker shape to them.

I guess modern names would work as well, but it wouldnt matter to me.

I think the shape of the forests are to "smooth", maybe need to break them up some, make them a bit more irregular. The names are fine but the city icons seem a little overlarge to me, but that's more preference than any kind of issue.

Heh Steel, actually I like those oversized city icons. It's a nice idea and something unique and at least imo works with this map.

DOn't get me wrong, I don't dislike them. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing such big 'icons' on maps, perhaps the idea will grow on me.

I'm with steel on seeing big icons on maps... but these icons seem to go with the map ... I like them...
