Looks good so far. The Marsh and Forest are a little difficult to distinguish to me.

Do you mean, distinguish from each other, or from the surounding lands, or something else.

Also make sure you have seen the full version.

I've look at the most recent map.

The problem, and it's the problem I have with all 'photo-realistic' maps, is it is difficult to see where one terrain type ends and another begins.

Part of this from my past experience with actually MAP & COMPASS course using techniques like those in the following link:

    http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~burchil...avigation.html

As a result, my preference for maps is has always been one of affected by reality of reading real maps. As a result, when I see a photo realistic map, I am predjudiced by the fact that I view it as someone who looks at it to do a quick scan to determine the general topographic features. And, with Photo realistic I have a hard time saying "This is a Swamp" and "That is a forest", and "Those are hills" and "These are Mountains".

Understand, this is not a negative critique, but an explanation to you (and others) my criticism of the Photo Realistic map, and why I have aproblems distinguishing terrain features.

This map is coming alone nicely! It doesn't show in the thumbnail but you have some nice details in there! Keep it coming!

I wished to continue this map, but real life got in the way. Looking forward to voting and entering the next one though.
