    I agree with you 100%, the CLs do a fabulous job!

    But there is a big difference between a theme (that you may or may not decide to try) and the forced use of a particular software program that some people cannot even use (http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...ad.php?t=29046) or don't want to spend a month learning when they know they will never want to or be able to afford to buy it.

    No one is forced to enter the challenges If people don't want to do this one, that's not a problem, for me it's just the same when people aren't interested in a challenge theme. Like I said before, there will always people that won't enter a challenge for some reasons ( lack of interest, lack of time and such). I don't see such a big issue here.

    Well, I tried, but it turns out you still have to download the many-MB program and use it to get those textures, even to just render them into a file to use them.

    OK, yes, you can do that I found. It's very low resolution and fairly small, but usable.

    In any case, I went ahead and downloaded the trial version to see more of the textures, so I'm good now. Thanks for your help!
