    it is a 32 bit
i THINK but DO NOT KNOW if it is the current
it is one of the 32 bits from the past 2 years
    what one ????????????
    who knows
    it is called "setup.exe"

WHY is everything in the Windows BS world called "setup.exe"
figuring out just WHAT "setup.exe" of the thousands installed i,and justwhat program is like having a dried shucked corn cob shoved where the sun don't shine

i HATE the generic obfuscated naming of EVERYTHING!!!!! as "setup.exe

In the case of the Wilbur installer (and many others), setup.exe is the installer runner. The actual content is contained in the associated .msi file (Wilbur32_setup.msi, in this case). All that setup.exe does is to ensure that you have the correct installer component of Windows on your machine and then passes off control to that. It is possible (and simple) to right-click on the msi file and select Install... This means that setup.exe is a convenience and not needed at all.

johnvanvliet, what version of 32 bit Wilbur do you have there? I'm currently using 1.83, but I apparently ditched the installer.

waldronate, how goes it with reestablishing your web presence?

You shouldn't need anything but the Wilbur exe if you already have the VS2010 redistributables installed.

Things are still going more slowly than hoped. At the moment I'm a few hundred miles away from home without access to the web site contents.

I have a file that I downloaded from

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multime...s/Wilbur.shtml

    called Wilber32_setup.zip

As far as I can see, it's fine, but I don't know if it is the latest version or not.

Every Softpedia Wilbur I've seen has been 1.66.

Wineskin farts and dies when I run either installer from johnvanvliet's link. Bummer.

    Okay. Finally got it going!
It looks to be 1.83. As far as I can tell, 1.84 ain't gonna help much lessun you're in 64-bit.
    Should be good.

http://www.fracterra.com/software.html should be the new permanent home for Wilbur.
