Map Creation Needed for class at college

In college one of the major projects im doing having to create a series of short stories with a map. My idea is something like a cross between the skyrim and Westeros map with two large Continents rivers, castle(like 5-6 controlling over certain areas with a capital) im laxed with names if it looks good on paper. Mapper will be credited with work in the stories and I'll proably write Ya in story as well.

Sorry to be so picky but being without software and the ability to draw more than stick figures.
