    Wip WIP world map

Just something I've been drawing up since I got my computer back ... last night ... yeah, I need a life. Anyway, I'd like to build this up around the cities, which are my main fascination.

Oh, and this is my first map.

I like the color scheme so far, any plans for terrain features, etc?

The labels are a little much for me, or are they just placeholders?

Nice job so far, looking forward to see how this progresses.

Thanks -- the labels are just temporary placeholders. I started playing with terrain and features this morning, just basic stuff like mountains and forests. I'll keep updating.

Thanks for the commentary, by the way.

This looks pretty good, about all I can really say in a critical way is that the red looks a bit out of place, but otherwise good job.

yea i'm liking it as well. very nice colors. Will be interested to see it when you place in mountains, forests, and rivers.
also im just curious if you wouldn't mind passing along the font names of Anika, Foundry, Long Walk. I liked their typography.

You're off to an excellent start. I can't wait to see what you come up with further down the road.

Thanks for the commentary, y'all. I'm not updating tonight, still working on.

Ice, I did the names by hand, actually, using a graphics tablet and Adobe Illustrator.

    Till later ...

Ice -- thanks. If you'd like anything specific done, I'd be happy to oblige.

Here's a small update, with mountains and forests, and without the city tags. Still brainstorming on the cities, by the way, and once I've got the map up and running, I'll start in on them.
