Seaground Map

Hi!

I'm searching for someone who can do a hopefully quick map of a random generated sea.
What I mean is basicly a 2500px x 2500px map that looks like this: http://www.cartographersguild.com/at...8&d=1276558241

I tried the tutorial (http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...ad.php?t=10768) a few times but never could get close to the image shown in the tutorial.

The map is for a Browsergame and does not need to have much land. Less than 1% or something could be land, the rest of the map should be water with a good and deep relief of the ground like it is shown in the image above, only a litte bit deeper (like deep trenches on earth: https://www.google.com/maps/@15.1031.../data=!3m1!1e3)

The map can be completely random and does not need something in specific.


I would like to have the .psd file if possible and would be very interested in the way someone made the map!

You mention pixel size, but what size in miles or km are you looking for? Should that small amount of land be bounding coastlines implying large landmasses, or just island specks, or both?

If you give us an idea what you need a player to do in or on the water, that might help - is it just cosmetic detail as background for surface action, or is the seafloor to be explored, travelled, and suchlike?

that is photoshops INTERNAL USE ( by the program photoshop) format


really ONLY photoshop can use it ( and it is version specific) .Other software "can" sort of use it ?? depending

WHAT version of Photoshop are YOU using ?


it saves all the steps for undos and layers ,and well EVERYTHING

and the file could be VERY HUGE in size ( one could even say it is mindbogglingly huge in it's hugeness )

it could be over 1 to 2 gigs in file size for a SMALL 2500x2500 image .
