Sweet! Love the VAN GOGH like grass, really original. I feel the roof tops a little heavy and compete with the stone walkways, toning them down some might help separate the two, but overall really nice work. Like the accompanying b&w line drawing. The front view rendering a nice touch.

Thanks snodsy. It is a fait accompli at this point.
But I take all advice into consideration for future works.

    Thanks Vellum.
If I can find some time between work I have started on another two pieces that would be similar to Bourmout.
I need more hours per day.

That is a beautiful work of art! I must ask though, is that by hand or through a program?

    Thank you mikoking.
The main layout was done by hand in pencil. Then scanned in to the computer.
Then I colored it in Photoshop. I added some more line work in Photoshop, things like the ground pavers, as they were not drawn in the original.
You can see the whole process here in this wip thread - http://www.cartographersguild.com/sh...ad.php?t=27860

This is a beautiful piece, and the one that brought me here after searchign for maps to use in my D&D game. You should be proud of the Cartogra[her's Choice designation, you really earned it with this map!
