    Map Bugbrooke, Middle of Nowhere

A friend who used to live and work in London recently moved to Bugbrooke, her definition of the middle of nowhere. She had asked me for a map of this land of the lost well before she moved.

Right about the time she was moving, I spent a week in hospital. To occupy mind and time, I started doodling this with a felt-tipped marker. It was just a preliminary concept and exploration, but I grew attached to it. Unfortunately, I could not match the pen once home, so her house is a different colour.

Soon, my wife will visit the middle of nowhere and will deliver my sketch. The pic was for my own reference and re-working, but I thought to share here despite being rather short of the quality for which I come to browse.

I quite like it! I'm sure your friend will as well.

    Thanks for looking.

Now I'll have to do a real one and share it with you eventually.

The story behind this map is great. And it looks great to me.

I really love this little sketch; it truly conveys "Middle of Nowhere" and reminds me of stories of my childhood.
