    Hi

    I have been a member of these forum for a bout a month, but only yesterday actually posted something, before that id just been getting resources and inspiration. But i finally decided to post, so here i am.
    A bit about me:
    I am the owner/founder of a new games company called Deadly Poison Studios and we are currently developing our first game, a horror RPG called
    Vergundia
    Wrath of Hellartra

    Bit about my map making:
    I was making maps in CC3 and editing in photoshop to make them look better, but now i am starting to make them purely in photoshop. Here are my old maps(newest first):

    Hi there, New Zealand eh ? You lucky chap. Did you know that the new zealand land registry has some amazing high res photos of your isle. They are probably the best top down photos of good terrain anywhere on the net. Check these out but be mindful of the image sizes - they are huge !

    Click on any of the coloured boxes.

    You can use these for bits of map like the ones you are trying to make.

    Whoa, those photos rock. Thanks for that link. I looked at BW24 and it seems that every dozen or so farms has a giant racetrack in the backyard...kinda weird...wonder what they really are. And the beachfront waves...I've gotta figure out how to make something similar. Sweet sweet link.

    Horse farms. Lots of riding/racing horses...

    thats what it would be, we have heaps of farms over here, and over 70% of them have atleast 3 horses
