    You know, for ideas to address some of the textures you find challenging, you might try looking at photographs astronauts have taken from orbit. Try the Earth Observatory web site. There's a less easy to use but more comprehensive site here, too.

    Thank you! I'll check it, I want to put a forest and a barren in the north of that desert but I'm not finding a good way to do it.

    I did a little change in the pattern of the mountains and I have no idea of how to make a good transition in the forest/barren/desert

    I'm with some ideas on my mind, but I noticed something, usually people work on the mountains, how can I make the mountains look better? Painting, blevel and etc.

    I'm having troubles with the rivers, I don't know how to draw them (not where to place, but how to draw). Btw I'll rework those mountains.
