Default Fantasy Map Illustration for Steampunk Novel Series

    UPDATE: Closed. Thanks!

Hello! I am a published fantasy author, working primarily in short fiction and game tie-in fiction for the Pathfinder RPG. I'm looking to dip into the self-pub market, and I'd like a map to accompany my steam & sorcery world. I'm a noob when it comes to map making, and I need some professional (or semi-pro) help. Ideally, this person will be able to help me turn my world into a map that is print ready and will tolerate my newbie questions.

    Payment
Negotiable, Paypal preferred. Contact me via email with your quote.

    Subject
Regional map of an island nation and its neighbors.

    Style
I prefer the hand-drawn look similar to:

    http://www.joeabercrombie.com/upload...(2)-793409.jpg

As you can see, I'm drawn to simplicity, with that traditional fantasy map feel. Some Steampunk elements might be cool, too.

    Quality & Size
    Professional / Semi-Professional
Will be used in print, ebook, and website/marketing materials
    300 dpi minimum
    2000x2000px
    SVG or PNG

    Time Constraints
To be published before the end of the year, so plenty of time.

    Copyright
Copyright remains with the artist. I'll need commercial reproduction rights, and I would like attribution for the names used if you republish it on your own. I will also give you attribution anytime I use the map anywhere. I'm open to a CC Attribution Share Alike license, if the artist is.

I'm pretty flexible on most of the above and will default to your superior map making knowledge. I'm looking for someone who will offer their own suggestions and creative insight, as there are parts of my world not yet set in stone.

    Thanks!

I've received enough quotes to make a decision and will be closing this request. Thanks all!
