    Post Map of Serth(version 2)

    Hello

    This is version 2 of this map, it is bigger(alot) and hopefully better, so far i have:
    made a complete custom parchment
    drawn the outline
    put the above 2 together

    next i am going to:
    add in the compass
    draw in the plotting, which i do in colours representing different types of land

    here is what i have so far:

    please give me some constructive critisiscm and your thoughts on the map, especially the parchment, because i got alot of comments on the first parchment, so i may go back and use that, depends on what people say

    Well, here is stage two of Serth(version 2), the plotting stage, my technique is to draw on different layers areas that i want to be certain things, e.g:
    mountains
    forest

    once thats done, i then make new layers for each type, and add the propper symbols, then delete the colour layers beneath. Here is the image of it with the colours done:

    The colours mean this:
    Grey=mountain
    Green=forest
    Blue=rivers
    Yellow=swamp

    well, i want to do this a bit different, not on parchment, i want it on a tapestry, does anyone know where i can get tapestry textures from? or atleast tilable tapestry borders? i have a nice texture, but it has no border, wondering if anyone knows where i could find some, i just want to try something new, working on adding the symbols now
