Thread: The Great City of Seyana

  1. #1

Map The Great City of Seyana

I took on a commission to do a city for a client to use in Roll20 that was a rather large piece of work.
The client didn't have named locations so the map didn't really have much other than the layout.
As I retained copyright I decided to take it further and complete the map as I wished.
I wanted to get a lot more labeling going so I did a front page and back page highlighting different information.
This was the biggest city I had done yet so it was a good bit of work to fit in those little street names.

As regards the original request, I was just given a few specifics and let go to lay it out how I wanted.
It was an interesting project that took a lot longer than I anticipated.

That does indeed look like it took a long while to accomplish, and it is impressive. The original is nice looking but I'm very glad you decided to keep going with it. The section key in the third piece is a little more gumball than I'm used to seeing but nonetheless is well done. Other than that small amount of shock I really like this. Great work J!

Thanks Sap and chick and Chashio.

Chashio - that was part of the original commission.
I wouldn't segment a city that way as it doesn't tend to happen like that.
