Thread: Tibet, The Third Pole

    Map Tibet, The Third Pole

I have recently read that Tibet is often nicknamed "The Third Pole" because, outside of both poles, it holds more fresh water than anywhere else.

But what if that title were literal?

If Tibet were the North Pole, what would the Mercator look like?

Don't know if it needs to be made with an oblique projection but it's not possible to change the position of the poles with Gprojector? Maybe I'm mixing two software here.
