Post The beard is gray, the fingers stiff

    Hello everyone,

I've been an avid gamer since 1979, started drawing Traveller ship deckplans using CAD software in the early 80s, and moved to Campaign Cartographer when it came out. I've had a few starship deckplans printed in commercial works. For some reason, I lost interest in the genre and have left my deckplans site linger for a long time.

For my fantasy maps I'm a hand-drawn type guy, but have found the joy in using pre-gridlined posterboard for miniature play. For gaming, I moved away from pen and paper games for many years, but, with the release of 4e D&D, I find myself back into it with a passion. Maybe it's the fact that my oldest kids are now able to enjoy the game. I'm currently running two groups of 4e players, one with co-workers (and my wife) and one at home (kids, their friends, and my wife). I plan to upload some of my maps soon.

ok, ok, I'm not that old compared to some of you...

Welcome to the guild Schirf. I started with 1e back in the early 80's so I'm slightly older than these two whipper snappers. Have fun here. I look forward to seeing your maps.

I refuse to age another year until I perfect the one before it ... .so I've been 13 for over 20 years now
