Political Map for Poster of Doronduin from 'The Infernal Thrones'

Hey guys,

Today I bring you a commission of a poster for a map I created for my fictional world of Aern. Illustrated below is Doronduin (also known as Midderus and Thurwinor in different languages of the races that live there), and ten of the political entities that dominate it. Below are some details for how the style I would like:

The Details

What will this map detail?:

Geographical - mountains & hill ranges, rivers, oceans & seas, forests/woods

Towns/Cities - 11 in total, castles and cities (see political map)

Political - light shades over the political region much like the Witcher 3 map pictured above


Political crests - 6 noble family crests (the largest ones), and 4 lesser family crests (see political map) - [NOTE: I COULD NOT DRAW THE LAST TWO CRESTS BUT THERE ARE A: crown of teeth on a green field in the northernmost region & a snow leopard leaping up to a frozen star on a baby blue field in the white region)

Title, banner, compass, scale ETC.


MAP (TREES) whereby green spots mark trees


MAP (RIVERS AND LAKES) whereby blue lines are rivers


MAP (MOUNTAINS) whereby brown marks are mountain ranges - NOTE THAT THE STRAIGHT BROWN LINE ABOVE THE GREY AREA IS A SINGLE MOUNTAIN RANGE THAT BUFFERS THE LANDS BEYOND
