Ok.. take a look at the thread RobA' posted the script in. Create a new document in GIMP and fill with with Black. Now either use the selection tool to select "rooms" and fill each selection with white before moving on to select another part of the map OR Just use the PaintBrush tool with a hard brush to "draw" your caves in White onto the back background. So, you have a single layer image with white on black where white is the empty areas where you rooms/hallways will be. Now.. I odn't have IGMP in front of me at this moment, but I think on the Filter menu, there is an entry for Dungeon Map maker or something like that. Or, just look around for something likethat. This will popup a window with a bunch of options. For your first pass.. just go with the defaults so you get an idea of what it will look like. You can then Undo and try again with different settings until you are satisfied. If you don't already, you might also want to think about adding some additional textures to your USERNAME/gimp-26/patterns folder from the web. You can get some nice stuff from many places on the web, including cgtextures(note, you can only dl 15mb from them a day unless you pay for better plan) and many other sites.

also how can I change the memory allocation of gimp??? Currently some of my images gimp will lag really bad when I'm trying to do somethin' to it. Yes the rest of my computer works fine, just gimp lags, and a few times it has given me a "you will bypass the memory allocation if you do this".

    Hia Heathen-

If you only need a temporary texture, just load up the png , select all and copy it to the clipboard. Anything in the clipboard is available as a texture.

If you want to always have it available, just take the selection and Edit->Paste as->New Pattern

If you want to convert a bunch of files at once, ask nice and I'll script it for you...

EDIT: And the memory settings are in the preferences under environment:

Besides, I am in an awfully rep-full mood today, and since you only have 7 to go to get your third block, I am ready(only +2 for now) to do my part to help you reach that goal.
