October/November 2015 Lite Challenge Entry: The River Kingdom

### LATEST WIP ### Here is my initial sketch with numbers showing the elements I hope to portray. The view point is from the top of a mountain, looking over the River Kingdom. I'm trying to show many elements of river systems; from the Headwater in the foreground to the estuary flowing into a cove, then bay, then ocean. Comments welcome.

### LATEST WIP ### Here's my mornings line work. I get up early and work 2-3 hrs each morning on maps before going to work, gives me a good idea of how long each map takes. Here is 2nd day. 4 ½ hours total so far. Back Mountains, comment welcome.

Impressive work snodsy! I really loved the tale you wrote in the challenge thread, and now the map of the river... just fantastic. These mountains and waterfalls looking soo great. It seems your linework issues, you mentioned from time to time, are overcome

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys.

Abu Lafia, yes I am happier now with the line work, it's really helped seeing some of the other process illustrations from You, J. Edwards, Lesopeso, and plenty of others, plus I found out there are some issues with the Wacom Tablet causing some delay and tracking issues (I just thought it was an old man's shaky hand), I've installed an earlier driver that has helped immensely. Wish I was at home drawing now, oh well have to make a living some how.
