Hello everyone
Hi,
I'm John Smith (my real name although no one seems to believe that)
I'm an avid Dungeons and Dragons player (I mostly DM)
I make a lot of maps for the campaign all of them hand drawn on regular paper, graph paper, or hex grid paper. I would post some of my work but I don't think the quality would compare to anything on the website.
The reason I haven't done anything on a computer is that I could never find a program that I liked or when I found one I would find it limiting when a get a good idea for something complex that can't be done on most programs that I know of.
I came to this site by someone mentioning the name of the site on the wizards forum.
So yeah just wanted to say Hi.

Hi John-
If you post links/references of the types of maps you like someone will be able to indicate the type of software to use...There are a lot of options, that is for sure.... but still, many of the people here use good-old pan/pencil on paper.
