Also: I kind of want to know how you did it - overpainting a photography? A specific program output for the realistic land shape?

Wow.
This is so hard contrast.
I can't even begin to describe the effect. I started feeling dizzy while focusing on parts of the map and trying to figure out what was going on.

How did you do this? Got some sattelite images and patched them together, then went over it in paint, afterwards adding text with gradient colour in like, Powerpoint?

This is just impressive. The amount of work that went into detail what I could see, with River Deltas and Roads and Rivernetworks etc pp is immense! Wow! Incredibly much work. Kudos!

Núnarpiaa I have made by first making a drawing, making photograph of it, colored it (photoshop and Adobe) made several layers not exactly on the original and then cloning details and filtering.
Núnarpiaa, its name comes from the Inuit (Greenlandic language) Nunarpiaa. It is located on the planet of Kalton, having size of Uranus but its poles are very extended. Oceans and land only exist in a wide belt around the equator. Núnarpiaa is a federation of semi independent countries. It's capital is Narviaa. The agglomeration of Moğmona *(Mockmoon) is the largest of Núnarpiaa.
